Statistics: Russia’s natural population decline at 221,300 Jan–May

MOSCOW, Jul 10 (PRIME) -- Russia’s natural population declined to 221,300 people in January–May, down from 180,800 people in the same period of 2019, as seen by PRIME on Friday in the data of in the Federal State Statistics Service.

The number of births contracted by 6.3% on the year to 562,500 people in the period, while the amount of deaths increased by 0.3% to 783,800 cases.
